Fashion Illustration is the art of communicating fashion ideas in a visual form or you can say it is an artistic representation of a garment to interpret our ideas on a drawing paper or digital artboard. Fashion Illustrations play a major role in designing, to preview and visualizing designs before sewing the actual garment, and with the rise of the digital world, fashion has also become digital and this is why the demand for ‘Digital Fashion Illustrations’ has increased a lot. This is what this course is all about, to teach you how to use Adobe Photoshop to develop Fashion Illustrations. You’ll be learning from the basics of photoshop to the advanced tools, from basic human figures to the complicated postures, the concepts of lights and shadows required for 3d rendering, different garment categories (like casual wear, smart casuals, party wear, resort wear, corporate wear, couture, avant-garde, white brides, Indian brides, sarees, contemporary wear, fusion wear, evening wear, draped outfits, winter wear, etc.) and various types of trims and accessories (like buttons, zippers, laces, fringes, tassels, feathers, pearls, hats, sunglasses, footwear, handbags, etc), different garment elements (like ruffles, frills, gathers, shirring, cascade, knots, drawstrings, lace-ups, etc), different types of fabric rendering (like cotton, georgette, net, organza, denim, ripped denim, tissue, lycra, velvet, crepe, sequins, furs, knits, quilts, leathers, satin, silk, etc), prints and embroideries, faces and hairstyles, and the list goes on. And not only this, but you’ll also be learning how to develop your own style of croquis, how to add backgrounds in an illustration, how to set-up a profile on social media, how to earn through fashion illustrations, and how to prepare a fashion portfolio. A proper assignment will be given after every session, and you’ll be getting customized feedback per session directly from Sanyam Jain, and you can also chat with him directly within the course. This course is a complete package of everything you need to know about fashion illustrations.
The purpose of this free demonstration is to give you an idea of how the further sessions are going to be. This session is planned to explain how you can change the color of a white outfit using layer styles and blending options. While using the options of hue and saturation, a few concepts should be a part of the discussion, like how to apply hue on a white color. So, to solve this issue, you’ll be learning how to merge layers and what blend mode you should be applying on what color.
Good Luck !
